Erin Almond's Story

This week, I’m asking you to join me as I participate in the 7th Annual Little Black Dress Initiative (LBDI) with the Junior League of Jacksonville (JLJ). For the next week, I will join other women in wearing the same black dress or outfit to help raise funds and bring awareness to food insecurity experienced by those living in Duval County. I would be honored if you would support me in this great cause by making a donation to support the Junior League of Jacksonville.

Your donation will help support the many projects and programs that JLJ has created to work to combat food insecurity. For example, our Fresh Minds Program is our current signature project that focuses on providing access to nutrition education and affordable healthy foods. This program has resulted in the distribution of over 2,576 fresh, well-balanced meals with a nutritional education curriculum to the families at Sanctuary on 8th Street.

My personal goal is to raise $750 and every little bit helps. The more we raise, the more we can do. Thank you in advance for your kind donation!
