ABOUT THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF MOORE COUNTY

The Junior League of Moore County (JLMC) is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.

OUR IMPACT

JLMC is dedicated to improving the lives of youth, families, and underserved community members throughout Moore County. Through volunteer action and local partnerships, JLMC provides meaningful support in areas such as food security, foster care, domestic violence recovery, youth enrichment, and access to education.

Past projects have included:

Sponsoring students and families for holiday gifts
Hosting the annual DSS Foster Care Holiday Party
Providing household goods and transition support for survivors rebuilding their lives after domestic violence
Restocking school snack pantries, hygiene supplies, and other student resources
Supporting foster children and families by urgently fulfilling unmet basic needs
Creating inclusive literacy opportunities through community book access
Providing students with the resources they need to succeed in their education
Organizing quarterly street clean-ups
