Story

For more than 90 years the Junior League of Raleigh has been committed to serving our community, and today nearly 500 active members commit more than 21,000 volunteer hours annually. We seek to expand and deepen our reach year after year to enhance the quality of life and the future of Raleigh.
The Junior League of Raleigh is open to any woman who has an interest in volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and a commitment to improving our community.

Gifts on Day of Giving support The Annual Fund.

The Annual Fund helps empower the JLR and its members to:
Commit over 21,000 volunteer hours annually from nearly 500 members.
Offer annual professional training for members and Provisionals, as well as local nonprofits, on how to serve our community.
Provide the Julia Jones Daniels Center for Community Leadership as a training hub for League members and affordable meeting space for the local non-profit community.
Serve 10 community partners that positively impact the lives of children and their families throughout Wake County:
AventWest Children’s Mentoring
BackPack Buddies
Brentwood Boys & Girls Club
Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina
Helping Horse
Heritage Park Community Learning Center
