Women's Alliance, Inc. is raising funds to support 8 Founder's Award scholarships for deserving young women — one for every decade of Joellen W. Grady's amazing life.

Joellen was a co-founder and former president of Women’s Alliance, Inc., and helped shape our mission to support Black youth through scholarships, mentorship and cultural enrichment. That work wasn’t just something she helped start. It stayed close to her heart for the rest of her life.

Women’s Alliance Founder’s Awards are one-time, $1,000 scholarships awarded to deserving, college-bound young women. Our goal is to fully fund 8 of them in Joellen's honor.

Joellen believed in showing up for people and creating opportunities where they didn’t exist. She didn’t just talk about service. She lived it.
