In lieu of flowers, we would like to remember John by setting up a 'Campership' fund with St. Helena Troop 1, John's Troop on his path to Eagle Scout. John's experience in Scouting, and Troop 1, meant the world to him, he reflected on it his entire life. 'Camperships', similar to scholarships, help support Scouts to be able to participate in high adventure outings, memorable outdoor hikes and camping experiences, when the scout might be able to afford the trips. In remembering John this way, we know that this fund will allow other Scouts to enjoy the same meaningful experience he did,and allow for John's legacy to live on with Troop 1.
