Alumni Association Membership Levels

2.1 Rights of General Membership

All current enrolled students at Central Penn College, graduates, full-time faculty and staff, and executives of Central Penn College are granted free General Membership status so long as they are active in said roles. General Members do not have nomination or voting privileges of questions put to the Alumni Council or full Association Membership but may enjoy benefits granted to them by the Alumni Council and Central Penn College. 2.2 Rights of Bannerette Level Members

Bannerette Level Members have all the rights and privileges of the General Membership. This level of membership will consist of graduates of individuals who earned certificate, diploma, or degree from Central Penn College. Bannerette Level membership will cost $10.00 per year, and provide the member with a small gift and lapel pin the first year. Bannerette level members can be elected to serve on the Alumni Council and be provided the rights and privileges outlined in Article 4 of the bylaws.

2.2 Rights of Commander Level Members

Commander Level Members have all the rights and privileges of the General Membership and Bannerette Level Members. This level of membership will consist of graduates of individuals who earned a certificate, diploma, or degree from Central Penn College. Commander Level membership will cost $50.00 per year, and provide the member with an Alumni Association window decal, lapel pin, drinkware, and attendance at the Alumni Association’s annual breakfast. Commander Level members will earn 50% off a Sword and Shield membership after 10 consecutive years at this level. Commander level members can be elected to serve on the Alumni Council and Executive Board and be provided the rights and privileges outlined in Article 4 of the bylaws.

2.4 Rights of Sword & Shield Level Members

Sword & Shield Level Members have all the rights and privileges of the General Membership and Commander Level Members. This elite level of membership will consist of graduates of individuals who earned a certificate, diploma, or degree from Central Penn College. Sword & Shield level membership will initially cost $500.00 for the first year and $25.00 each subsequent year until Golden Knight Level Membership is obtained. Sword & Shield Members will be provided with an AlumniAssociation window decal, lapel pin, drinkware, Alumni Association t-shirt or sweatshirt the first year. Sword & Shield membership will also provide recognition in the Central Penndulum and attendance at the Alumni Association’s annual breakfast. Sword & Shield members will be invited to attend an annual meeting with the President and Vice President of the Alunni Association.

2.3 Rights of Golden Knight Members

Those graduates who have reached the milestone of a 50th year as an alum, are entitled to the prestigious designation of Golden Knight. A Golden Knight will receive all Sword & Shield membership rights with no expected annual dues.
