Jolene came to Belladonna in 2023 and quickly stole everyone's hearts. We were never quite prepared to take on a cow but wanted to provide a safe haven for her for as long as we needed to. However, we have always known that she truly needs to be with other cows. It has also gotten increasingly difficult for us to meet Jolene's needs here at Belladonna and so we began searching to see if there were a sanctuary better suited to care for Jolene that can give her everything she needs. Then came Bucky's Bull Rescue! After some planning and discussion we both agreed Jolene would thrive at their sanctuary and we are all preparing to take Jolene on the journey to her new home. But taking in a new resident is expensive - espeically one that weighs over 800 pounds! So we are asking for donations specifically for Jolene and Bucky's to help them continue their wonderful work and ease the financial burden for them taking in this sweet soul.
