Help Joshua & Nikki Get Back on the Road Before Baby #2 Arrives
Last week, after leaving our Spellbound: At the Table show, our beloved Nikki was in a car accident. By God’s grace, she, their two-year-old son, and the baby she’s expecting are all safe—but the ordeal has created an unexpected financial burden for this young, growing family.
Nikki was making a left turn with a green arrow when another driver—later admitting he was tired and distracted—drove through the intersection and struck her car. At first he acknowledged his mistake, but he has since changed his story, turning this into a difficult “he said, she said” insurance dispute.
Because Joshua and Nikki have been working hard to stay afloat as they prepare to welcome their second child, they made the tough decision to drop collision coverage last year after a friend generously helped pay off their car. With Nikki’s spotless driving record, it seemed like a safe cost-saving step at the time. Unfortunately, it now means their insurance company won’t fight to have the other driver’s insurance cover the damage.

To make matters harder, our family business never fully recovered from the lost revenue after this year’s water damage, which means we don’t have the financial reserves we’d normally use to help Joshua and Nikki through this unexpected crisis.
Here’s where they stand:
-
$1,000 in tow and storage fees
-
Up to $10,000 in front-end repairs for their low-mileage Prius—damaged bumper, headlight, fender, wheel well, and potential suspension/alignment work
This is their only car, and Nikki is nine months pregnant. They’re too humble to ask for help themselves, so I’m asking for them.
If you are able, please consider donating to help Joshua and Nikki repair their car and ease the heavy stress during this crucial time. Every gift, no matter the size, brings them closer to safe transportation for doctor visits, work, and caring for little Tony and their soon-to-arrive baby.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for any support—financial or simply sharing this campaign—during this challenging moment for their young family.
