BFL's Annual Fundraising Event at the Museum of the City of New York, celebrating our work with survivors of domestic violence with disabilities.
We will unveil renderings of the concept of a neon piece by renowned artist Alicia Eggert for our Freedom Village (2025). Eggert is perhaps best known for her text-based neon work, and most recently had an installation at the United States Supreme Court. Guests will also have access to the museum's exhibit Changing the Face of Democracy: Shirley Chisholm at 100.
We will be recognizing our 2024 Barrier Free Living Jack Fritts Mission Impact Award honoree, Paul B. Feuerstein Innovation Award honoree and Theresa A. H. McIntosh Advocate Honoree.
