This award has been established to honor entrepreneurs who have demonstrated a steadfast, long-term commitment to serving and uplifting our community.

This inaugural award serves as a heartfelt tribute to the memory and enduring legacy of Jovan's founder, Ertis Crouch. Its realization has been made possible through the generous support of Beatrice Gomes, The Muse Foundation and

Shawn Medina.

Embodying an entrepreneurial spirit and a dedication to community betterment perfectly encapsulates the essence of The Jovan's Black Excellence Award. These funds are intended to empower the recipient with additional resources, enabling them to expand and enrich their business initiatives.
