For over four decades, Joyce Teague dedicated her life to Concord Academy. From her very first days as one of Concord’s founding teachers in 1983, to her 25-year tenure as Executive Director, and later as a devoted trustee, Joyce’s unwavering commitment helped shape the heart and mission of our school.

Joyce believed deeply in the potential of every student with a learning difference. She saw possibilities where others saw limitations, and she considered it her life’s calling to open doors for students who needed a different path to success. Her legacy is woven into every corner of our campus and continues to be carried forward by every student whose life has been changed by Concord.

Before her passing in 2021, Joyce expressed her wish to create a scholarship fund — one that would continue her life’s work by supporting students who need financial assistance to attend Concord.

Today we are proud to honor that wish through the Joyce Teague Memorial Scholarship Fund.

As we celebrate what would have been her 81st birthday on April 23rd, we invite you to help us continue her legacy of hope, access, and belonging with a gift of $23, $230, or $2,300, or any amount you feel led to give, your gift will directly support the students she loved so dearly.

Joyce helped build a school where every student is seen, supported, and celebrated. Let’s continue that mission together.

Give in memory of Joyce. Give in support of Concord students. Give in the spirit of belonging.
