Spreading Joy In Our City

Philadelphia has a rich history of mural arts that reminds me of Jesus’s call in Matthew 5:14 to be “a city on a hill.” These bright splashes of color in an otherwise gritty city send a special message of purpose, intention, and renewal. Like the transformation of a blank or graffitied wall into a massive and colorful work of art, we too were once stained but are now transformed and have new life in Christ. Jesus now calls us to be that vibrant mural -- spreading joy and light to the darkened world around us. 

We have important work to do in our city, and we can only continue this through a shared journey with mission partners like you.
