Story
The ACDA National Conference is one of the most prestigious choral conferences in the nation, with over 10,000 choir directors from top institutions expected to attend. Only 28 choirs are selected nationwide, and out of those only 11 are high school groups. That means that out of the hundreds of thousands of high school, collegiate, and professional groups across the entire country, JPS Chamber Choir was selected to perform. JPS Chamber Choir will be the sole choir representing New Jersey at the National ACDA conference and it will be their first time attending.
The choir has worked diligently to send the Association 3 consecutive years of top quality recordings. After each recording was put through two rigorous blind auditions, JPS Chamber Choir was selected as one of the top 28 choirs in the country. We are so proud that the students' many years of hard work and dedication have culminated in receiving this national honor.
.
We estimate that this trip will cost upwards of $1,650 per student - about $50,000 total - including buses, hotel accommodations, meals, and other expenditures. We have an ambitious goal to send each student on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at no cost. We would be honored to receive your assistance in achieving this goal. We will be recognizing all donors in a professionally-printed program booklet at our send off concert on 2/15/23 at The Church of St. Matthew the Apostle, Edison.
The reward tiers are as follows:
