As a community organizer and advocate, I am a commitment to transformation and healing. I have seen first hand the impact of the carceral system and the way it tears family apart. We have to come together as a community to ensure our people are safe, and have what they need to be successful. Our people deserve to be met with empathy and solutions, not cages. Prisons throw away people, not social problems.
