I had a personal desire to get involved and give back to the community. After hearing about the mission and history, touring Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center, and meeting with staff, board members, and patients, I was inspired and knew I wanted to be part of this organization.
From the leadership to the patients, everyone seems to be happy and fulfilled. It is rare to find an organization, especially a healthcare organization, that truly prioritizes patient-driven (not profit-driven) motives. This positivity and mindset flow from leadership to the staff and, ultimately, to the patients, creating a captivating company culture.
