Once upon a time over five years ago, each of us in our own individual journeys, had a vision of starting a coffee shop in Portland where refugees and immigrants could be trained and learn new skills. After many years of waiting, dreaming, and building various connections, the time has come to collectively embark on this shared vision and adventure!
Enter: Jubilee Hall PDX. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Jubilee will allow our program to focus on training, equipping, encouraging, and mutually learning from refugees and immigrants through the practice of hospitality and the art of making and serving delicious coffee and chai.
We are THRILLED to begin our fundraising campaign for our training cafe space located in East Portland. All funds raised in this campaign will go directly towards our start-up and buildout costs.
