At the eleventh hour in May, the Washington State Legislature cut funding to the Washington State Office of Civil Legal Aid, which supports us and our two partner organizations helping people clear their unconstitutional drug possession convictions under State v. Overnight, we lost $600,000 in funding, beginning July 1, 2025.

With no notice of this cut, we are scrambling to raise funds to keep our team intact. (We all had been assured that there would be at least one more year of Blake funding.)
