🕊️ What is Justice Within?

Justice Within: Meditation for Liberation is a growing global movement uniting people in meditation and prayer to raise consciousness, show solidarity, and call for peace — from Vermont to Palestine, and beyond.

Rooted in sacred practice and bold action, our community holds space for connection and liberation — for Mohsen, for Palestine, and for all beings facing oppression.

Our practice began with Meditate With Mohsen — powerful daily sessions held while Palestinian and humanitarian activist, and Vermont community member, Mohsen Mahdawi, was unjustly detained by U.S. immigration authorities in April 2025. Mohsen has been released but our work is not done. We have just begun!

From this moment of crisis, a movement was born. Now, Justice Within is expanding as a program of Mohsen’s emerging nonprofit — committed to interfaith connection, spiritual activism, and collective liberation.

We believe meditation is not an escape — but a path into the world with more clarity, compassion, and courage.

•  Weekly Online Meditations- Tuesdays, 12PM (EST) 

• Spiritual Teachings & Guest Leaders

• Quarterly In-Person Wellness Retreats

• Presence at Protests & Social Justice Events

• Support for Community Organizing & Interfaith Solidarity

These offerings are always free or sliding-scale to ensure accessibility — because freedom is for everyone.

We’re relaunched weekly online meditations this September and plan to host our first in-person wellness retreat in November. To bring this vision to life, we need to raise $21,000 by November 1st.
