Join Our Capital Campaign as a Partner

We invite you to partner with The Refuge Philadelphia Branch as we launch a $3 million capital campaign to purchase land and develop The Refuge Philadelphia Campus, a permanent, inclusive, and accessible environment created to serve individuals with special needs across every stage of life. The Refuge of MS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The Refuge Philadelphia Campus will need to be situated on approximately 80 acres and thoughtfully designed to bring education, residential care, therapy, and community together in one place. The campus will include a day program serving preschool, K–12, and adults 18 and older, as well as male and female group homes that provide safe, dignified living for those who need long-term support. Beyond core services, the campus will offer spaces that foster joy, connection, and sustainability. A covered equine therapy arena and horse pasture will provide therapeutic riding and host special events such as The Refuge Roundup. An accessible pumpkin patch and petting zoo will create a welcoming, family-friendly environment with room for outdoor games and seasonal activities. A multipurpose building will be properly placed at the pumpkin patch area so to serve as a retail shop, coffee shop, ticket purchase for the pumpkin patch, and a concession stand, all serving as a revenue source for ongoing operations.

This capital campaign allows The Refuge to not only purchase and develop the land, but to open what is built with stability, ensuring programs are ready, staffed, and sustainable from the start. Every element of the campus is designed with accessibility, dignity, and belonging at the forefront.
