Help Us Lower Adoption Fees & Find More Dogs Their Forever Homes!

At  Red Rose Animal Rescue, we believe that every dog and puppy deserves a loving home. But for many families, high adoption fees can be a barrier to welcoming a rescue pup into their lives. Unfortunately our adoption fees are higher than what many people would consider affordable, but this is only because we are trying to recoup costs of caring for them. All of our animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate vaccines), dewormed, treated for fleas. All of these things add up and we are a small rescue that gets zero funding, we run off of donations. That’s why we’re launching the "Furever Homes Fund"—a campaign to lower adoption fees and help more of our sweet rescues find their forever families.

Why Are Adoption Fees High?

Every adopted pup has received:

🐶 Spay/Neuter Surgery – Every dog and puppy is altered before adoption to prevent overpopulation.
💉 Vaccinations – All dogs receive DAPP vaccines (with the number depending on their time in our care) & Many of our puppies are receiving a                                    Bordetella vaccine. If they meet the age requirement, they receive a Rabies vaccine at the time of spay/neuter.
🦟 Flea & Deworming Treatments – We regularly provide flea control and deworming to ensure our pups are healthy.

Then there are the things that are often not thought of. Remember we are a foster based rescue so if these things are not donated we are buying them ourselves.

🍖 Daily Care & Supplies – Food, treats, toys, blankets, cleaning supplies, potty pads, and other essentials.
🚗 Transportation – Fuel costs for vet appointments, meet-and-greets, and adoption events.

With over 100 dogs and puppies in our care at any given time, these costs add up quickly. While we receive generous donations, they simply aren’t enough to cover everything. As a result, we must keep adoption fees at a level that supports our rescue operations.
