In Muhlenberg County, United Way of the Coalfield is proud to support organizations and initiatives that uplift our neighbors and strengthen our communities. Last year, we contributed $10,000 to families impacted by the 2024 tornado and provided $15,350 to Hope2All Food Bank to help fight food insecurity. We work alongside trusted partners like PACS to ensure home-delivered meals reach elderly residents, and we support agencies such as The Salvation Army, Red Cross, and Hope2All in their efforts to provide food and basic necessities to families in need. Through our partnership with the Muhlenberg County Opportunity Center, we help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities access meaningful vocational and life skill services. At United Way of the Coalfield, we bring together private, public, and nonprofit partners to address tough challenges and improve access to education, economic stability, and health resources for all Muhlenberg County residents.
