OCT. '24 UPDATE:
Thank you all so much for your incredible support! 🎉
Because of your generosity, I’ve not only hit my initial goal but surpassed it! I’m truly grateful for each and every donation, and I’m inspired by the way we’ve come together to support mental health awareness through running.
Since the fundraiser has been so well received, I’m excited to announce that I’m now setting a new goal of $1,000! 💚 Let’s keep the momentum going and continue making a difference for those struggling with their mental health.
Thank you again for believing in this cause and for standing with me. Every dollar counts, and we’re proving that together, we can break the stigma and encourage healing through movement. 🏃♀️💪

This December, I’ll be running the Honolulu Marathon—not just to cross the finish line, but to take a stand for mental health. I’m running as part of team Still I Run, a community that uses running to break the stigma surrounding mental illness, and I’m raising at least $500 to support their mission.
This past year has been one of the toughest of my life. As I entered my 30s, I realized how deeply fear, anxiety and depression had been holding me back. I’ve spent much of the year simply existing rather than truly living. Running became my way of fighting back. On the days when I could barely get out of bed, lacing up my shoes and hitting the pavement was a reminder that even though life is hard, I am stronger than I think.
Still I Run resonates with me because it promotes the same belief that running can be a powerful tool for mental health. Running has helped me reclaim my strength and find peace, even when my mind felt like a prison. I’m running this marathon to show myself—and others—that even in our darkest moments, we can rise above.
If you’d like to support my fundraising efforts, here are some fun ways you can contribute:
- $10: “Step by Step” – Every step matters! Your donation supports me and others as we take one step at a time toward better mental health.
- $25: “Mile Marker Motivator” – Be the encouragement I need as I hit each mile marker in the race—and in life!
- $50: “Pave the Path” – Help pave the way for me and for those Still I Run supports by contributing to mental health resources and running programs.
- $100: “Endurance Champion” – Your donation represents the grit and endurance it takes to run a marathon and to navigate mental health struggles.
- $250: “Mental Health Hero” – Be a hero for mental health by making a significant contribution that will help countless individuals find their strength through running.
Your support means the world to me. By donating to my fundraiser, you’re not just helping me cover 26.2 miles in Honolulu—you’re helping to spark conversations about mental health, inspire others to seek support and prove that no one has to face their struggles alone.
Please donate today and join me in the running for hope, resilience, and mental health awareness. Together, we can show strength in every step, no matter how difficult the journey.
