The Annual AnkhLave Garden Project Public Art Exhibition

Help Us Keep the AnkhLave Garden Project Fellowship Alive

For the first time since its inception, we did not receive any funding for our AnkhLave Garden Project Fellowship this year. This unfortunate shift is due in part to widespread defunding of the arts and the deprioritization of support for BIPOC artists by many grant-making institutions.

But rather than take a gap year, we made the bold decision to move forward, hosting the 7th Annual AnkhLave Garden Project Exhibition without the fellowship component, to continue showcasing the work of BIPOC artists and honor our ongoing commitment to cultural equity.

Now, we’re turning to our community.

To bring back our flagship fellowship program in 2026 for its 8th year, we need your support.

Your donation will help us:

  • Reestablish stipends and resources for emerging BIPOC artists

  • Sustain mentorship, programming, and visibility opportunities

  • Continue our mission of building equity and representation in public art spaces

✨ If you believe in the power of BIPOC storytelling and public art, please consider donating today.

Together, we can make sure the AnkhLave Garden Project Fellowship not only survives, but thrives.
