Hello comrades,

DSA's next biennial convention is coming up this August. National Convention is DSA’s highest decision-making body and is vital to the democratic functioning of DSA. The decisions made at convention will help determine the course of DSA for the next two years in ways that can affect our chapter's local work. As a member-funded working-class organization, we share the collective responsibility of funding the work we want and need to do.

Our chapter will be sending one delegate, Charles C., and one alternate, Olivia G., to convention this year. Travel to the convention will cost our delegates a significant amount of money, which is why we are asking members to donate to support our delegates’ attendance at Convention. Due to the costs of registration, housing, travel, and meals we have set a fundraising goal of $1000. In order to achieve this goal we need all of our members to pitch in.
