Kabataan Culture Mobile Classroom Trailer
Kabataan Culture is a non-profit organization committed to promoting and educating people about Filipino culture, with a particular focus on the AANAPISI community (Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander). Our goal is to spread awareness and teach about Filipino culture through Tagalog language lessons and cultural workshops.
To achieve our vision, we are excited to launch our mobile classroom trailer, which will allow us to visit cities and communities across the country and provide Tagalog lessons and cultural workshops. Our mobile classroom will be a 16-foot trailer that we will convert into a state-of-the-art learning space.
Inside, you will find a small community library dedicated to AANAPISI authors, a table where students can learn from our Kabataan Culture teacher (virtually or in person), and an interactive media center for workshops that can be done both inside and outside the trailer. In addition, the trailer will include a small bathroom, a sink, and storage space for our equipment and teaching materials.
With the converted outdoor space, we can offer expanded learning presentations, providing more opportunities for children and their families to learn about our culture.
We believe that representation matters, and our mobile classroom trailer will enable us to reach even more communities and provide access to our rich culture and language. Your contribution to our funding goal will be a significant step towards making our vision a reality, and we cannot do it without your help.
Join us in our mission to spread awareness and teach about the Filipino culture in contribution to the AAPI community. Thank you for your support
Maraming Salamat Po.
