Kairos Inside creates Christian communities inside prisons that can transform lives, decrease prison violence, and reduce recidivism.

Faith Walk By Two is hosting this fundraiser. Although we are managing the process, ALL collected donations will go 100% to the Kairos CFRC group.

This fundraiser is targeted at supporting the Kairos weekend #19 at the Central Florida Reception Center (CFRC). They will assemble a local team of approximately 40 men, from central Florida, to go into the prison May 16-19, 2024. The team will minister to 42 inmates and some members of the prison staff.

Our team members commit to 36 hours of training before the weekend. Some travel more than two hours for these training sessions. We also continue the ministry after the weekend through prayer and share reunions twice a month, and a couple of full day Saturday follow-up sessions inside the prison.

Funding the full weekend costs approximately $7,500. This includes approximately $3,600 in meals we provide to the residents and team members. These are special meals from outside vendors. Not the prison cafeteria food they normally get. It also covers costs for paper goods, condiments, coffee, writing tablets, pens, bibles, crosses, and other general expenses we incur. All of this relies on generous donations from individuals, churches, and organizations.

A ministry such as this cannot happen without prayer. We rely on people all over the world to cover the entire weekend in prayer. We ask individuals to commit to at least at least 30 minutes of dedicated prayer on one or more of the 4 days. YOUR PRAYERS MATTER. When these men see how many people, who don't even know them, are lifting them up in prayer, the impact is amazing.
