Camp Reunite serves children who have incarcerated parents in the Wisconsin Department of Corrections - serving children who have both a mother or father in prison. Through trauma-based care, art therapy and meditation, the program works to curtail the cycle of incarceration, while also reuniting the children with their incarcerated parents during the camp stay. To address basic needs concerns, all campers received new clothing, new hygiene items and new backpacks full of grade-appropriate school supplies while at camp.
In 2025, we purchased $2,500 worth of new school supplies for our campers - including new durable backpacks, scientific calculators, notebooks, rulers and so much more! To fill a backpack full of new school supplies for a camper is roughly $28 per child.
Any donation to offset our costs to provide this tremendous investment in our campers academic future is greatly appreciated. All funds will be used to purchase brand new supplies to fill NEW backpacks for Camp Reunite campers in the summer of 2026! Thank you for your gracious support!
