Help Bring Our Neighbors Home.

KCB has a strong track record of helping our neighbors move off the streets and into housing where they can flourish and be good neighbors. Over the last three years we have helped hundreds of people move home! We are typically able to use local grant funds to help with the high costs of moving, which can be up to $5,000 per move-in. This cost can include the first month's rent, deposits, utility fees, appliances, and furniture.

However, due to recent changes in our grants, we are almost out of those funds. Our staff is excellent at leveraging outside funding sources, but from time to time, our neighbors might not be eligible, the funding is not enough to cover the full cost, or funds are not available fast enough to compete in the local rental market. This requires us to have flexible funding available for unhoused neighbors to have a chance at signing a lease.

We know of at least three potential move-ins in the next month, and we are expecting that number to increase between now and the holidays. This Fall, we invite you to help us bring our neighbors home.

Kingdom Causes Bellflower (KCB) is in urgent need of funding to help welcome home and provide household items to our recently housed neighbors and our unhoused neighbors who are close to moving off the streets and into their new homes.
