Good in the Hood is more than a festival — it is a celebration of community, culture, resilience, and belonging.

For more than three decades, we have kept Good in the Hood free and open to the public so families, neighbors, youth, elders, artists, vendors, and community partners can gather without cost being a barrier.

That is only possible through donations, grants, sponsorships, and community support.

This year, Good in the Hood faced significant challenges. A changing funding landscape, including reduced support for DEI and culturally specific community investments, led to fewer sponsorship dollars. Weather also impacted our festival revenue.

But the spirit of Good in the Hood remained strong.

Now, we are raising $25,000 to help close the gap, cover remaining festival costs, and keep this beloved community tradition strong for the future.
