Building Kaua‘i’s Future Leaders Through Music, Culture & Community

At Anaina Hou Community Park, we believe in the power of music, culture, and hands-on learning to shape tomorrow’s leaders. Our Youth Programs are designed to help Kaua‘i’s keiki (youth) explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop the skills that will carry them from the classroom to community leadership.

From strumming their first ukulele chord to performing on professional stages; from attending the annual Community Pa'ina to helping plan it, Anaina Hou is where Kaua‘i’s youth grow, lead, and shine.

Where Learning Comes Alive

From classrooms to the Pavilion stage, our youth programs are designed to meet students where they are and inspire them to dream bigger. We blend the arts, cultural traditions, and leadership experiences to create meaningful pathways for Kaua‘i’s youth, whether that’s learning to collaborate, perform, teach, or lead.

Every lesson, performance, and service project strengthens their connection to the island, their peers, and their own potential.

A Pipeline for Leadership and Belonging

Our approach helps young people evolve from participants into mentors and community leaders. With guidance from local artists, educators, and Anaina Hou’s leadership team, youth gain hands-on experience in teamwork, event production, and service — learning what it means to give back to the place they call home.

When we invest in their growth, we’re not just supporting individual success, we’re building the foundation for a stronger, more connected Kaua‘i.

Partnership Spotlight

In 2025, Anaina Hou began the official partnership with Henry Kapono Foundation. Working with HKF's developed On The Rise program, we are meeting the needs of the next step in growth and development. This program is more than a music focus program, this program provides mentorship classes teaching business development, marketing, and leadership. Anaina Hou has committed to sponsoring one musician each year through this program as we continue to build a foundation for local story tellers to become community leaders.
