Back when we were prayerfully selecting Base Camp cities, Camp Well alumni from Kerrville—deeply impacted by the Texas floods—reached out and asked us to come minister to the women in their community as the anniversary of the floods approaches. They understand how grief resurfaces in seasons like this, and they have personally experienced the hope, peace, and healing that Jesus brings through spaces like Base Camp.

These women have been faithfully supporting a broken community while grieving the loss of family members, homes, and the normal rhythms of life that were swept away. Yet even in the midst of deep sorrow, they have encountered hope—and now they long for other women in their community to experience that same healing presence of Jesus.

We are responding by bringing Base Camp to Kerrville. To make this experience fully accessible, we are raising scholarship funds for 70 women impacted by the floods, removing every financial barrier so this can be a true gift to their community. We are also covering additional travel expenses so more of our experienced team can come serve, care for, and walk tenderly with these women.

We believe this gathering will be a sacred gift of healing, hope, and community as these women approach a difficult anniversary.
