Being in community asks something of all of us: attention, care, choice, and the often-invisible effort of staying soft, and human, when the world feels sharp.

The refuge we create together doesn’t happen by accident. It lives in the small, everyday ways we look out for one another — celebrating each other’s art, lives, and stories, and making space to listen.

At KFAI, we meet through music, art, and story. Sometimes we leave with a new way of seeing each other. Fear is met with curiosity here. Isolation softens into connection. With you, this place feels like home — something steady and grounding, a break from the noise, and a reminder that we’re here together. You and I are KFAI.
