The LLEM Basic School is a government approved school in Nigeria, a place where children are shown the way and are trained to become all that God wants them to be. Our curriculum is Christian-based and helps children learn to love and respect the LORD.

God wants us to improve the school site and our campaign “sponsor the school” will improve the lives of the children in this poverty-stricken community. The LLEM International “sponsor the school” campaign has been strategically implemented to raise awareness about the condition of the LLEM Basic School in Asa, Nigeria. Education is the key, and these children must not be denied their education. They deserve better. A good education is the best way for them to improve their lives and the lives of their families and to break the cycle of grinding poverty facing them. Without a proper education, they become vulnerable to participating in less-than-ideal activities, including spending time on the streets selling trinkets to support their families, or being forced to be a part of a child labor scheme. Furthermore, young girls and boys face the risk of being sex trafficked. School is the best place for these highly vulnerable kids.

Our goal is to provide a conducive, Christian-based educational environment for children to learn, with all the amenities and tools necessary for their learning and development.
