A year of growth and purpose for KHORIKOS

This will be a challenging year, and we’re facing it by firmly recommitting to making music with purpose, and building community around our art.

We’re setting a lot of exciting new things in motion in 2025:

In the spring, we’re premiering a new concert project featuring commissioned music from our composer collaborators, alongside selections from our 2024 call for scores.

Soon after, we’re releasing Across the Open Spaces, an album of new vocal music that reflects on physical space, isolation, and community. We’re excited to release the album in stereo and Dolby Atmos on Navona Records – this is our first project with the support of a record label.

This coming year is KHORIKOS’s 20th anniversary! We’re planning a big birthday party and concert for the fall, and we hope you’ll join us.

Please consider helping us grow this coming year.

We’re raising $10,000 to directly fund those three projects: 

$7,000 will go towards the production, distribution, and marketing of Across the Open Spaces, and the production of our album release shows.

$2,000 will go towards commissioning and production costs for our latest concert project. 

$1,000 will go towards... well, just keeping the lights on for another year!
