KID CRAFTER APPLICATION: AUGUST 13th, 2026

Thursday August 13th is TugFest Family night, and kids’ Craft/Vendor booths are FREE!

KID CRAFT FAIR DATE:

Thursday, August 13th: 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. | Setup 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. LOCATION: Main Street, Port Byron, IL

COST: FREE! (electricity provided for an additional $20, if available).

REQUIREMENTS:
APPLICATION: Please read the following carefully: The application on page 2 must be filled out completely and mailed to the address listed. Payment must be received with application.The application deadline is July 17, 2026. (Please reach out if an extension is needed).

PICTURES OF CRAFT ITEMS AND/OR DISPLAY: This is to ensure only approved items are sold. Flea market items are not allowed.

T-SHIRTS/KOOZIES: Can not include mentions of, relationship to, or logo use related to Port Byron or the Tug Fest event.

SALES TAX: Sales Tax needs to be collected and paid (7.25% in Port Byron). Collection is the responsibility of the crafter.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT: To be provided to the business prior to event. It will need to be returned, signed prior to August 13th, 2026.

FAMILY NIGHT: Local children’s businesses will be featured on Main Street Thursday night. Wristbands for children’s activities will be available and food trucks will be set up.

ELECTRICITY: Electricity is available at an additional cost of $20 per booth, limited availability - first come basis. We have a 110 volt, 20-amp service. It is the crafter’s responsibility to be G.F.I. protected and to have matching plugs to our receptacles. Please be sure to bring your own cords. Additional cords will not be available on site.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

● There will be minimal security provided overnight on Thursday and Friday into Saturday. Please plan accordingly.

● There will be no crafter parking behind booths. Parking passes will be provided for a designated location close by.

● No refunds are given if the vendor chooses to depart earlier than the end time. If the festival is canceled, the fee will be refunded.

● If you tear down early, you will need permission from a Tug Fest committee member to bring your vehicle on to Main Street. This is for the safety of everyone.

● All crafters will be on a first come, first served basis. Please submit your application early.

● A maximum of two like vendors will be allowed.

With Thursday, August 13th being Family night, kid-operated Crafters or Vendors booth is FREE! Valid on Thursday, family night only! Kid-operated business are limited to those under 18 and must be accompanied by an adult.
