Many ask, why I am planning and training to harness myself to a wheelchair while climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in September 2025; isn’t summit into a 19341’ mountain hard enough? My answer to that question is my love for the Harmon Family. Jeff’s wife, Sandy, and I were NJ friends and have a shared history that could never tear us apart. Over the years, Jeff and my husband Philip have formed a friendship also which has been a gift. When our daughter married in 2022 Jeff and Sandy hit the dance floor wheelchair and all during the reception.

Philip and I both are committed to putting our own comfort aside for Jeff to make summiting Mount Kilimanjaro possible!
