Anytime Killen Fire deploys ropes for a rescue, they use two of them. One as the primary and the other as the safety rope. After they are used, they have to be downgraded to utility ropes. Those ropes cost $310 a piece. 

Killen used these ropes to pull Kollin Barber out of a ravine on US-72 on August 3rd. With your help, we would like to purchase a set of new ropes for KFR.
