Now imagine every other kid around you is fully equipped — laughing, writing, showing off new gear.

That’s the reality for so many children across Jamaica and underserved communities, and that’s exactly why Kim Kares Foundation shows up.

🟣 Who We Are

Founded by Felicia Tucker, a Jamaican-born mom who remembers what it’s like to go without, Kim Kares Foundation, INC is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to easing the burdens of families facing poverty, domestic violence, and crisis.

We serve women and children with compassion, consistency, and care.

Since launching, we've:

Served over 500 children with backpacks, supplies, and meals
Delivered hundreds of care packages to families in need
Created safe, joyful spaces for kids to feel celebrated not forgotten

🎒 What This Fundraiser Supports

On Saturday, July 19, 2025, we’re hosting our 3rd Annual Back-to-School Treat in Jamaica to support 150+ children. Your donation will help provide:

🎒 Fully stocked backpacks (composition books, pencils, rulers, sharpeners)
🍽️ Hot meals and refreshments for every child
🧃 Snacks, juice, water, and a hot meal
🏆 Prizes including Tablets for the Spelling Bee, Musical Chairs, and Bulla Eating Contest
🏰 Bouncy house, face painting, and family games
🎁 Surprise gifts including smartwatches for top participants
🛏️ Assistance for families needing basic items: beds, clothing, groceries

Every child will leave with more than just supplies —they’ll leave with confidence, laughter, and love.

🥺 Why It Matters

Many of the children we serve:

Live in homes with unstable income or no parental support
Have never owned a new backpack or school shoes
Go to school hungry or ashamed of what they don’t have
Have moms doing their absolute best with little to nothing

This is more than a giveaway, it’s a moment of dignity and a reminder: you are seen, and you are loved.
