This is a team effort by multi-crafters from around the US, Canada, the UK, Down Under, and beyond? We’re part of a supportive internet crafting community that admires our completed works, helps each other learn new skills or work through or around obstacles (or virtually drinks through a frogging in sympathy), and believes that lifting each other up by encouraging each other to improve on these ancient skills makes the world a better place, especially when the result is a gift given that was handmade with love.
So, what better way to put our talents to use than to turn back to our roots for another key principle: be kind to one another. Take care of those in need. Many of us donate our products to various shelters, to unhoused persons, to charities helping refugees from war or other human-induced sufferings. This is a great opportunity to raise money for 4 charities that help those with food insecurity and also perhaps make something to donate or auction to raise funds for another charity at the same time. Win-win!
