I’m participating in the KiDS NEED MoRE 5K because I believe every child deserves the chance to be a kid — to laugh, play, and feel pure joy, especially those facing unimaginable challenges like cancer and life-threatening illnesses. As the Director of our 2nd Annual 5K, I know firsthand this event's impact. The funds we raise allow children and their siblings to attend Camp Adventure — a one-week sleepaway camp where they can be themselves, make friends, and experience happiness in a truly transformative way. Once you spend even a single day at Camp Adventure, you see the excitement, freedom, and light that shines through every child. It inspires you to work even harder to ensure Camp Adventure continues for years. This mission is also deeply personal to me. I lost my mother, Rosie, far too soon to a rare form of cancer, along with several dear friends. I have others close to me who continue to fight. Life is precious and unpredictable. That’s why it’s so important to come together, lift each other, and give back to our communities in any way we can. Please help me reach my fundraising goal.
