In 2013, Kismet of Kings was founded by Lewis Spears in response to the tragic loss of a loved one to gun violence. What began as a small mentorship program in a borrowed classroom has grown into a powerful community dedicated to empowering young men in Jersey City.

Over the past decade, we have provided about 500 young men with mentorship, education, and leadership development, helping them become strong, confident leaders in their communities. However, we have always lacked a space to truly call our own.

Now, we are ready to take the next step and establish a permanent home for Kismet of Kings. A dedicated space will allow us to expand our programs, host more events, and continue to transform the lives of young men in Jersey City.
