Ramadan Appeal 2021

Feeding the poor and needy is an act that brings us close to Allah. We earn His forgiveness, compassion, and blessings through this act of charity. Please join us to feed the orphans, widows, and the neediest families in Kabul, Afghanistan, during the holy month of Ramadan.

Komak Rassan (KR) is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization that aims to relieve and resist poverty in Afghanization by providing a baseline quality of life for families through their Monthly Food Distribution, Family Empowerment, and Children's Education Programs.

Afghanistan is one of the poorest countries in the world. According to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, approximately 70% of Afghans are food insecure. High food prices, unemployment due to the pandemic, insecurity, and political instability have recently pushed millions into high-risk food insecurity and at risk of hunger and disease. The most vulnerable in society are children age five or under. Up to 50% suffer from chronic malnutrition.

During the holy month of Ramadan, with your help, we aim to deliver food packages to as many needy families as possible. Please generously donate and donate early so that we start the distribution as early as the first of week of Ramadan.
