HELP FIX FAITH!

On September 18th, Candus Johnson, founder of Zoey’s Outreach Ministry, was graciously donated the funds to buy an old school bus she had her eye on for months. It needed quite a bit of work to get it up and running, but a few weeks ago the head gasket blew, and it will cost $2,000 to replace!!

She is working really hard to get to the $2,000 mark, and currently needs just $748 to make that happen! She has many plans for her bus, “Faith”, such as hauling all of the toys she plans to distribute to underprivileged children (currently accepting toys!!), feeding and donating items to many homeless citizens in our community, transporting citizens from the sober house from time to time (takes them to buy clothes, feed the homeless to help them feel empowered to help others) and anything else she thinks will be helpful to the community.

She travels 5 days a week in Houston, Texas to visit and work out with the elderly, cooks meals for a sober house of 5 citizens, and prepares and delivers meals to homeless citizens throughout the city. She has monthly events that she hosts to bring toiletries, clothes, and household items to underprivileged apartments and shelters.

She is currently collecting toys and plans to distribute them the weekend of December 21st and 22nd. She really needs her bus ready to rock and roll by then!!
