Darcie Mahoney's Story

Join Conservation Works for our 5th free Annual Hike for Habitat on Saturday, October 14, 2023!  We will be holding a docent-led hike in Otis R. Johnson Wilderness Park in Fort Bragg (enter at east end of Laurel street). Conservation Works’ docents will lead hikes starting at 10 a.m., explaining about the habitat there and helping identify native plants along the way.   Anyone is welcome to join us for the walk or to strike off on your own. Being outdoors is healthy, and celebrating nature together on October 14, 2023 wherever you are is a gift to us all!  Of course, we’d also like you to consider a more tangible gift to Conservation Works—help us do more to accomplish our mission by giving a gift today and supporting our environmental education and “take action” days with youth and our community that involves on-the-ground change and makes a real difference in Ecosystem Restoration, Water Conservation, Climate Change, Fire Resiliency, and healthy sustainable communities  in our rural north coast.  We thank you for your support.
