What is the " New Mexico Credit Unions Connected Academy"?

The Academy will permanently provide an Educational Coordinator/Liaison to the live-in patients, new patients, and the patients' siblings within the UNM Children's Hospital. This will allow these patients to experience school and stay enrolled in their hometown classroom to continue their education, alleviating stress and worry about falling behind.

Because of the success of the Connected Academy, there are now multiple teachers and multiple classrooms!

NO MATTER THE COUNTY IN NM, any child that needs services will benefit, AND We will provide the following:

-Teacher's salary and benefits-

-The annual supplies needed for the program-

-ANY other necessities the Academy requires-

As the Connected Academy continues to grow, Financial Security Credit Union and NM credit unions have pledged OUR support and commitment to the hospitals' Academy for many years to come.
