🌿 KRV Queer Campaign: Visibility, Belonging, and Rural Pride

Because rural doesn’t mean invisible.

Across the Kern River Valley and our surrounding Sierra communities, LGBTQ+ people are showing up with courage, heart, and joy — but access to affirming services, safe spaces, and opportunities to celebrate identity still lags behind.

The KRV Queer Campaign is a grassroots effort to change that.

We’re raising funds to support:

• 🌈 Free & inclusive mental health services for LGBTQ+ individuals and families

• 🏕️ Community events that celebrate identity, connection, and healing in nature

• 🎤 Storytelling circles and creative workshops that give voice to rural LGBTQ+ experiences

• 🛠️ Crisis support and care navigation for those facing discrimination, isolation, or hardship

This isn’t about rainbow flags once a year — it’s about building long-term, authentic community care, powered by and for queer folks living in rural California.

Every dollar raised supports real people right here — not a corporate campaign, not a city-based nonprofit. This is local, and it’s personal.
