The Heart Behind the Campaign

Christina Ward, founder of Ayiti Cherie, created this collaboration to honor her Haitian roots and her family’s story.

Her father and grandfather, both born in Port-au-Prince, lived with a neurological disorder that affected their mobility and speech. Christina knows what it means to fight for dignity, access, and hope, and she deeply believes in Healing Hands for Haiti’s mission to restore all three for others.

Through this campaign, Christina channels her family’s legacy of resilience into handcrafted jewelry that symbolizes healing — for both the giver and the receiver.
