We are honored to be a part of bringing ballet and the arts to the island of Maui. It truly brings community together and inspires the growing artists we have in our studios everyday. A production of this size is not possible without the generous donations from some many of our Ohana, both near and far. Alexander Academy Performing Company is honored to welcome sponsors to assist in the improvement of dance education and expanding the arts on stage for Spring 2025.
Our production costs are in great need of support and we are hopeful for some amazing sponsors to help make it happen! Overall costs have increased beyond our budgeted coverage from ticket sales, current fundraisers, and performance fees. Due to the inflation in many costs, we are in need of $30,000 to put on this lovely show this year. Alexander Academy Performing Company needs your support to continue. We are asking both businesses and individuals to assist with bringing the art of dance to the stage for our Maui community. We believe in what we offer in our community through our production, in it's value, in the gathering of our dancing Ohana, and the impact of our dancers' well-being daily in the studio. We thank you in advance for giving, both in big and small ways.
In appreciation of your donation to our non-profit performing company's event, we will make sure to acknowledge all donors on our website, in the production program, and throughout our connected emails. In addition, we want to extend this an extra gesture of thankfulness:
DONATE $500 = Receive two seats to view our dress rehearsal in it's entirety
DONATE $1,000 = Receive two complimentrary tickets to a La Bayadère show

La Bayadère is a ballet about a temple dancer named Nikiya and her love for a noble warrior named Solor. The ballet is set in ancient India and features themes of love, fate, vengeance, and justice. Our production features stunning choreography by Alexander Academy of Performing Arts Artistic Director Absalon Figueroa and AAPC's talented faculty including Amelia Nelson and Hallie Hunt. All of the exquisite costuming is executed by Jennifer Oberg and the Sewing Hui.
A true highlight is watching our student dancers ages 3+ take on this classic that was originated in 1877 at the Imperial Bolshoi Kamenny Theatre in Saint Petersburg. This presentation by Alexander Academy Performing Company adaptation is perfect for audiences of all ages and all backgrounds.
