Bringing Clean Water to the Lunyiko Community in Kenya

The Concord–Carlisle Catholic Collaborative is launching a Lenten initiative to raise $12,500 to bring fresh spring water to the Lunyiko Community in Kenya, Africa. This life-giving project will be carried out in partnership with The Water Project, a trusted nonprofit organization that provides sustainable water and sanitation solutions throughout sub-Saharan Africa. They will oversee the planning, construction, community training, and long-term support for this project, which is anticipated for Fall 2026.

Our goal is to fully fund this project during the Lenten season. If we exceed our fundraising goal, any additional donations will support the Friends From Afar Scholarship Fund, further extending the impact of your generosity.

You can support this effort by making a donation online at cc-catholic.org or by using the Lenten Water Bowls available in our churches throughout the season.
Pick up your Lenten Water Bowl at church this weekend and help bring hope through clean water.
