Join the Kingstowne Communion and Franconia United Methodist Church this World Communion Sunday for our first "Love Your Neighbor" collaborative, family-friendly event this fall, a Rise Against Hunger meal-packing event combatting worldwide hunger!

We'll collaborate with hundreds of other United Methodists to measure, pack, weigh, seal, and load ~24K nutrient-rich, easily-digestible meals, assembled of rice, beans, and nutritional supplement and costing 41 cents per meal. This event great for all ages; there is something for everyone to do.

ESTIMATED SCHEDULE OF THE EVENT

10am - Joint World Communion Sunday worship service
11:30am - 1st meal-packing time slot
11:30am-1pm - Drop-in and out community lunch
12:45pm - 2nd meal-packing time slot

DONATE TO TOWARD THE MEALS & KINGSTOWNE WILL MATCH IT

This event will cost the Kingstowne Communion ~$4,100 to co-host (41 cents per meal), funding our half of the meals for this event. In order to fund our Kingstowne portion of this incredible event, we are raising the money by matching dollar-for-dollar up to $2,000 any donations given at any amount on this Rise Against Hunger fundraising campaign page, including but not limited to the following donation levels, and any donations above and beyond our goal just enables us to pack MORE meals:

Rice Level = $25 (equivalent to funding ~60 nutrient-rich meals)
Beans Level = $50 (equivalent to funding ~122 nutrient-rich meals)
Supplement Level = $100 (equivalent to funding ~244 nutrient-rich meals)
Weighing Level = $200 (equivalent to funding ~488 nutrient-rich meals)
Sealing Level = $300 (equivalent to funding ~732 nutrient-rich meals)
Boxing Level = $400 (equivalent to funding ~976 nutrient-rich meals)
Gold Gong Level = $500 (equivalent to funding ~1220 nutrient-rich meals)
